ENTERPRISE RISK ASSESSMENT (ERA)

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a civil complaint in May 2025 alleging that Anchor State misused investor funds and made false or misleading statements.

The SEC says few real loans existed and most investor funds were allegedly diverted to earlier investors or the founder’s personal expenses.

Investment contracts offered returns of 12 %–19 % over short periods (one to eight months), a classic “high-return, short-term” pitch that often signals elevated risk or fraud.

The SEC complaint notes that Anchor State was not properly registered, rendering its securities offering unregistered, which is a common trait among fraudulent schemes.

At least one investor reported receiving initial payouts and rolling over the principal, but later attempts to withdraw funds failed and payments stopped.

Multiple civil lawsuits have been filed by investors claiming non-payment, bounced checks, fake wire transfers and misuse of funds.

This whole Anchor State thing screams red flag. The SEC literally filed a fraud complaint alleging more than $2.5M was raised with promises of big returns and then used on personal luxury expenses. That alone makes me question everything.
