ENTERPRISE RISK ASSESSMENT (ERA)

Repeated revisions and extensions in reverse takeover (RTO) deals, such as those involving Green Lagoon Technology, indicate potential execution risk.

Elevated freight costs and currency fluctuations have pressured profitability and may affect investor confidence.

While the company has anti-corruption and whistleblowing policies, these highlight recognized risks that need active management.

Recent management resignations may raise questions about continuity, even if reported as amicable.

Legal scrutiny of the major shareholder in the broader group can negatively affect public perception, even if not directly tied to Ancom Logistics.

Honestly don’t jump to invest right away. Ancom Logistics is small and pretty opaque for what it actually does, with most of its business tied up inside bigger structures and holding companies. Make sure you understand exactly what you’re getting into.

Financially, they’re improving but still weak: recent full-year results show a small loss narrowed significantly.

I’ve been tracking Ancom Logistics Berhad for a while now and, honestly, it’s been a mixed and cautious experience. The business is real — they provide logistics, freight, chemical tank storage and transportation services in Malaysia and Singapore — and it’s been around for decades, so it’s not some fly-by-night company.
