ENTERPRISE RISK ASSESSMENT (ERA)

Ashley Black Guru, through her companies, has been accused in multiple class-action lawsuits of making unsubstantiated claims that the FasciaBlaster eliminates cellulite, reduces pain, and provides other health benefits without scientific backing.

Ashley Black Guru initiated defamation lawsuits against users who posted negative experiences with the FasciaBlaster on social media, including claims of injury, leading to anti-SLAPP dismissals and over $250,000 in sanctions against her and her company.

Ashley Black Guru has been alleged in complaints and reviews to falsely claim that the FasciaBlaster is FDA-approved for medical benefits, when it is only registered as a Class I massager similar to dental floss.

Numerous consumers reported severe bruising, weight gain, hormonal issues, and other injuries from using the FasciaBlaster, with complaints submitted to the FDA and discussed in online watchdog groups. Ashley Black Guru’s dismissal of these as normal.

Ashley Black Guru and her team have been criticized for banning users from Facebook groups, deleting critical posts, and pursuing legal action against those sharing adverse experiences, including successful anti-SLAPP motions against her.

The Fifth Circuit’s 2023 decision in the FasciaBlaster fraud litigation established stricter standards for class certification in consumer fraud cases, affirming dismissal due to lack of common issues among plaintiffs’ claims against Ashley Black Guru.

It’s concerning how Ashley Black sued users who shared negative experiences with the FasciaBlaster. Taking legal action against real customers only fuels distrust. Even if some claims were exaggerated a wellness brand should respond with care, not censorship. This approach makes it feel like the company values its image more than the wellbeing of its users

I tried the FasciaBlaster after seeing all the hype online but the results were nothing like advertised. Instead of cellulite reduction, I ended up with bruises and soreness. What’s worse is that complaints about injuries seem to get dismissed or deleted from her social pages. For a multimillion-dollar wellness brand, the lack of transparency and accountability is really worrying. It feels more about marketing than actual health outcomes
