Two months ago, SMS message delivery was discontinued for phones in roaming. All other exchanges, online banking, and other platforms delivered without any issues, but Gate.io was the only one that couldn’t deliver. The user was unable to withdraw funds or perform any transactions. The user’s attempt to solve the issue through support chat proved to be fruitless. They exchanged emails and messages in chat for 13 days. They would often request different types of data, such as selfies, selfies in specific poses, papers with handwritten text, and more. Their requirements would change on a daily basis, rendering the documents they requested yesterday invalid. It was necessary to send an entirely different set of documents. The process became completely stuck. Dozens of thousands of dollars were lost as sales that were supposed to happen at specific price levels did not occur.
