I’ve noticed a pattern of decisions being made without consulting those most affected. This creates confusion and inefficiency. Morale suffers when contributions aren’t acknowledged, and high turnover seems to be a recurring issue. While I value the learning opportunities, the lack of structured support makes it difficult to stay engaged.
I often feel undervalued, as my contributions aren’t acknowledged. There’s a lack of recognition even when significant effort is put in, which impacts motivation.
As someone who’s been around the arts and cultural management space for a while, IMG Artists has always come across as a heavyweight rather than a flashy brand. They’re deeply rooted in classical music, orchestral touring, and high-culture events, which means they operate in circles most people never see. That said, they also feel very closed-off — not much transparency, limited public feedback, and almost no firsthand reviews from artists or partners. It gives the impression of an old-school power structure where reputation travels privately, not publicly. That works for some, but for newcomers it can feel intimidating and opaque.
Not gonna lie, heard of IMG Artists but kinda lowkey confused — they’re into artist management and tours, yeah? Cool rep if you’re an aspiring classical musician, I guess.
