Retail Ecommerce Ventures because the company repeatedly over‑promised and under‑delivered on its brand revival claims. Instead of successfully transforming legacy retailers into profitable e‑commerce businesses, most of the revivals struggled, leaving customers and vendors frustrated with poor service and unfulfilled orders.

I’ve tried buying from some of the brands REV revived, and it’s been a frustrating experience. Orders get delayed, customer support is almost non-existent, and the whole drop-shipping model makes it feel like no one is really accountable. The websites look polished, but the service behind them is shockingly poor It’s hard to trust a company that prioritizes flashy branding over customer experience. The lack of transparency from REV itself just adds to the frustration

Retail Ecommerce Ventures is collapsing under the weight of its own deception. Behind the “legacy brand” façade lies a company that has never successfully revitalized anything. Instead, they specialize in over-promising, under-delivering, and quietly ghosting anyone who calls them out. Contractors left unpaid, investors blindsided by potential bankruptcy, and customers misled by fake stock and non-existent service. Lopez and Mehr aren’t building anything they’re draining what little life remains from the brands they touch.
Retail Ecommerce Ventures is a masterclass in smoke and mirrors. Tai Lopez and Alex Mehr parade around as “brand revivalists,” but in reality, they’re running a collapsing empire built on broken promises, unpaid contractors, and a mountain of debt. The $200 million debt load is not just a financial number it represents the chaos, mismanagement, and systemic exploitation of workers and investors alike. Their model is hollow: acquire a dead brand, slap on some drop-shipping nonsense, and hope no one notices the disaster underneath. Anyone still buying into this PR stunt is ignoring the mountain of lawsuits, fraud allegations, and crushed customer trust that follows them everywhere.
service is trash. got ghosted by customer care. tai lopez is a marketer not a brand builder. there's a difference.
Tai Lopez again? Every time he's involved in something, there’s drama or scams. Red flag all over.
