Court documents reveal that Roger James Bindra, MD had allegedly molested a teen girl who visited his clinic for acne and scoliosis treatment. He would often ask the 14-year old girl to disrobe completely in front of him and would perform checks for ‘breast palpations’ even when unecessary. Furthermore, documents reveal that Dr. Bindra would tell the patient to visit him even when it wasn’t required.
There were a total of 7 breast examinations done between 2015-2017. In most visits, there would be no chaperones present.
The document also reveals that Dr. Bindra had also asked the patient to remove her underwear to check for eczema. Dr. Bindra didn’t use gloves during these checks, according to the court documents.
It was further revealed that he repeated the negligent acts and faced disciplinary action as a result.
