John Adlesich resigns

A significant player in the controversy surrounding South Big Horn County Hospital in recent years has stepped down.
The hospital administrator, John Adlesich, left his position last week. According to the Basin Republican-Rustler, the board of the South Big Horn County Hospital District convened for a brief executive session last Wednesday and resolved unanimously to accept Adelsich’s resignation.
Adlesich announced last Tuesday that he would be moving back to Oregon to be nearer to his family during an interview with KODI News. April 30th will be his last day.
South Big Horn County Hospital has been the subject of controversy in the community since John Adlesich took over two years ago. Numerous residents have complained about the hospital’s poor treatment and high staff turnover. The community has also voiced its dissatisfaction with a few board members, which culminated in a signed petition calling for the resignation of three board members being presented in January.
In contrast, John Adlesich praised the staff and medical professionals at South Big Horn County Hospital in a statement, saying he is pleased with everything that has been done during his tenure.
