Hawes & Curtis is a traditional British company and shirt expert that specializes in exquisite accessories and tailoring for both sexes. The brand, which was established in 1913 by Ralph Hawes and George Frederick Curtis, keeps its promise of great quality, inventiveness, and affordability.

The Duke of Windsor, Lord Mountbatten, and Fred Astaire are just a few of the notable customers who have passed through Hawes & Curtis’ doors since the company’s founding in the Piccadilly Arcade. Hawes & Curtis has received four Royal Warrants in recognition of their dedication to providing flawless service and superior products.

Along with his other multichannel companies, Ghost and Finery London, award-winning entrepreneur Touker Suleyman acquired the brand in 2002 and turned Hawes & Curtis into a well-known company worldwide. 14 locations around the UK and Germany are home to Hawes & Curtis, but the flagship location is still located on London’s Jermyn Street, which is well-known for its in-house formalwear experts.

    Regretfully, every item I’ve bought is of poor quality. The shirts have terrible finishing, unfinished button holes, cotton fragments spilling out, and overall subpar finishing. Not that the suits are much better. The clothing ages rapidly; shirts show signs of wear after only a few uses. Like a suit factory in Thailand. Although I won’t be using them again as a customer, I would view it as a learning experience.

    I’ve made an effort to get in touch with someone at the company to help with my return. I am unable to return anything because it is not listed on their website. I’ve made multiple attempts to phone, send emails, and even use the “live chat,” but I’ve never received a response from the automated system.

    The chat representative did not answer my question. The query was not considered at all. After the meeting, they either left for a restaurant or didn’t have the right response. For what task do you pay them?

    The outfit was not the right size, and it arrived too slowly. We sent it back for a refund one month before the wedding, but it took so long for it to reach their office that we were unable to get it in time for the wedding. Customer support responded slowly, and we were not promised a refund or a chance to return the item after we requested for it. Rather than offering an exchange, they simply said, “We’ll make a note.” It’s in outstanding shape.

    My wedding dress was transported to Australia after I placed my order three weeks ago. I haven’t heard anything about the shipment since I got the initial confirmation email. Emails and phone calls to customer service are not answered. The caller hangs up after saying that no one is accessible. A horrible service; I might now have to look hastily for another wedding gown. I have never encountered such bad customer service at a major corporation.

    It is not possible to receive customer service. I was forced to return an online order that I had made. Still, I’ve never received a response to my emails or an acknowledgment of receipt, even though I’ve tried to get the money back. I will neither suggest this online merchant to anyone nor will I make any more purchases from it. The trouble comes in looking for refunds or customer support. It is not possible to reach the customer service department. Customer support!

    It is just now that I have received my stuff. I sent emails to Curtis and Hawes, but I haven’t heard back. Every OCS in the world claims not to have gotten my box of T-shirts. My order ID number is 2436516. I was given the tracking number, 7153543 HC715. My shirts are still waiting to arrive, three weeks later.

    The quality and color of the blouse were exquisite. The garment arrived damaged, so even though it was a little too tight, I still rated it two stars. At the top, two threads had come loose. It allowed me to hide the threads that the bow pulled, so I decided to keep them. I’m relieved not to have used the entire sum!

    I returned the case for a refund because, regrettably, my new suit did not fit the jacket or pants that I had ordered. Approximately nine days ago, on Tuesday of last week, it was born. Nothing has been heard since. There is currently no communication confirming the return of the item or providing information regarding my reimbursement. After submitting an email from Royal Mail confirming that the item was returned, I called their customer support twice, but I never heard back. I’m sure the majority of people will feel the same way: when purchasing, one of, if not the most, crucial factors to consider is whether or not the customer service is decent. Unfortunately, Hawes & Curtis does not offer customer service.

    I was dissatisfied to see a picture of my purchase left at any old front door after never receiving it. The shirts themselves are of decent quality, but the level of service is lacking. Furthermore, the coupons that Hawes and Curtis supply are constantly ineffective. My package took almost three weeks to arrive, and there is currently no mechanism to lodge a complaint or get a refund when using DPD for delivery. Overall, the encounter was frustrating.

    The process of placing an order on the Hawes & Curtis website was simple, and the three-week shipping time from London, England to Halifax, Canada was quite rapid.

    My main worry about the shipment was that there was no additional box inserted between the branded carton and the H&C shirts. In my opinion, leaving it like way can attract unwarranted attention. Relief was felt when the gift arrived unopened.

    Wonderful, amazing tees. Delivering your goods to the US Virgin Islands is the only issue. The postal service remains unchanged. However, the US Virgin Islands are not permitted for an address on your website.

    James and Curtis are still sending me messages with advertisements. Prices for shirts are only there so they won’t honor them when I try to buy. According to them, even though the costs are listed on the American website in US dollars, it is equivalent to GB pounds. There is no way to purchase them. But over three days, five more ads with the note that they were selling in US dollars arrived in my inbox. Every time is an untruth.

    During the same period, I purchased a pair of pants from Charles Tyrwhitt, but they too didn’t look good. The trousers did not fit properly. I tried contacting customer care by email, chat, and phone but got no response. It has been about three weeks since my email was not answered. I returned the pants by mail, but I haven’t gotten anything back either. That following day, I got the chance to speak with their representative. I received a letter regarding the pants, and a month or so later, I received my money back. They will undoubtedly win my business once more in the future.

    An issue is quality control. The arm measures are all off, and although the shirts are lovely, they are rather narrow. My three orders were all 18/36 shirts. After measurements, just one is a natural 36. Refunds and exchanges are difficult to come by.

    I bought the item online, but I had to return it because the description wasn’t accurate. Rather than mailing it back, I went to the store to make the necessary changes to the item. Getting the item I sought wasn’t easy. The employees lacked effectiveness. Some shops don’t have the same inventory, so you have to search all over London to find the ideal place to find gorgeous shirts that are limited in quantity. Once you have your measurements, you should shop online rather than going to the stores in London.

    You are wearing pants that are too small. Although I generally wear a 36-inch waist, this jacket was the smallest size, even yet it fit me perfectly. In addition to waiting for my credit, I also have to pay the $8 processing fee. Let down.

    My purchase has not arrived. I am being prompted to rate my purchase, though. Customer care has been contacted, but I haven’t yet gotten tracking information. The tracking details have made the shipment’s data available without causing the status to alter. If you live in the US, we do not advise doing this.

    Pleasant and simple-to-use website. Ordering was a simple process. However, due to a misunderstanding, I was unable to cancel the order I had placed that same day. I was unable to speak on the phone with a live person. I had to send an email instead of trying to join the live chat, and I’m still waiting to learn if there was a cancellation. Processing and receiving the return is time-consuming and laborious for myself, the recipient, and the business. It’s not a wise decision.

    Even though I placed my purchase early, it took ten days for them to come. Until the day of my wedding, which was a few days before my wedding and two weeks after the order was received, I had not received any important information. This came about in response to multiple emails sent to customer support requesting expedited delivery. They gave me total disregard. I was going to give my groomsmen these as wedding ties. They won’t be worth my time, but they will show up after the wedding. After ordering them and paying the same delivery cost, I bought an additional connection in Sweden, and it arrived last week. Nothing to apologize for. None at all.

    I’m still awaiting the shipping date. It is anticipated to arrive soon—within 30 days after the purchase. I’ve repeatedly asked for assistance and customer service for reimbursement of at least the cost of shipping. The firm has not replied, only saying that the package is on its way. It’s annoying that I have to pay for a premium delivery service (expedited) that costs more than $20, and I’m almost at the 30-day mark for an expedited delivery. I had assumed that Hawes would be capable of more.

    The policy regarding refunds and returns is terrible! On Black Friday, I bought shoes online. The suede was not what I expected when I received the order. The employees I spoke with regarding refunds and exchanges informed me that there was no way to swap things that were on sale! I requested that they offer me the same shoes in a different color from what I was originally given by the personnel. They said they could only swap for the same size and refused to accept returns. I’m not able to swap it or get a refund at this time. That’s absurd! The website’s return and exchange policies are not very clear, and since we are left with little flexibility or options if we decide to exchange or return the products, it is simple to mislead individuals who buy the goods during the Christmas season! It verges on being fake!

    The clothes were really good. I was thrilled with the content. My 16.5 top fit nicely, but the collar was difficult for me to fasten. I went with size 17, which fit me a little bit too large. But it was not difficult to button up the yoke. I’m not sure whether the collar sizes of 16.5 and 17 are the same. However, that is not a concern of mine. It’s all a little tight.

    SCAM WARNING! Unsatisfactory experience and customer service! They refused my request for an exchange. I was reimbursed for my returns, but I was also assessed $30 in “restocking fees.”

    My first and last time is now! Regarding my purchase, there was no correspondence. After two weeks, I received a confirmation, but nothing more. You ought to improve, in my opinion! I’m expecting to receive my product quickly.
